ABOUT US
Prairie West Meats was purchased by six livestock producers from across the state of North Dakota with similar goals in mind. They all wanted to have a reliable source for processing their livestock and have a consistent, uniform product to sell to their customers. The facility changed hands on October 23, 2020. Kim Bauer and Steve Doll have processed beef at Prairie West Meats for over 15 years and decided it was time for a change.
The new owners have changed the name to 6 in 1 Meats to represent the 6 owners coming together for 1 purpose. One of the first objectives of the business is to obtain the federal stamp, which allows 6 in 1 Meats to process under federal inspection. In the past, the business has only processed beef, but moving into the future, they will be open to processing all species, including beef, sheep, pigs, elk, etc. They look forward to providing custom processing to the local and surrounding communities.
